  • -Jim Elliot: For teaching me how to prepare and discipline myself for the Lords service.
  • -St. Cyprian: For listening to critics, but never changing for them.

 

Art:

Art attracts us only by what it reveals of our most secret self.”

 

  • -Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn: He had many hidden meanings in his work along with blatant hidden details. His art is fun and exciting.
  • -Vincent Van Gogh: Along with the many fans, I enjoy how his art makes me feel so eerie and so calm all at the same time.
  • -Francesco Clemente: He is one of the few living artists that I really respect. His paintings are very odd yet not weird. You have to admire that.

 

Movies:

  • -Second hand Lions: Two men teach us that a life worth living, is one that others won’t believe happened.
  • -Shadowlands: Through the life of C.S. Lewis we see a very unique, yet beautiful love story.
  • -Luther: When faith, bravery, and wit come together- you get Luther.
